In this book, Hussmann builds a bridge between the pragmatic methods for the design of information systems and the formal, mathematical background. Thirdly, a way of obtaining a hybrid formalpragmatic specification using a combination of SSADM notations and formal (SPECTRUM) specifications is shown.
